The ergonomic paddle lever together with an adjustable quick lift plate and a larger ball-head ensure a completely new sanding experience. This system now also allows secure fixing and significantly faster separation of the upper and lower parts of the rod.
For machines built after 1990, it is possible to retrofit either the entire system or only the paddle lever.
Available for HUMMEL®, ELF andSUPERHUMMEL.
The standard ELF can optionally be equipped with an upper rod for left-handed users. The lowering lever for the drum can then be operated with the left hand.
The ELF can be ordered with the centrifugal sanding drum. A belt is used as abrasive, which only has to be pushed onto the sanding drum.
This allows a quick exchange of the abrasive.
When the machine is switched on, the centrifugal force causes the lamellae of the sanding drum to rise and thus tension the sanding belt.
The following version is available:
Drum width 200 mm
Drum width 200 mm (only available as spare part)
The ELF can be ordered with the conventional sanding drum in widths of 200 mm or 300 mm.
The abrasive must be cut to size using a template included in the machine accessories and then tensioned in the sanding roller with two clamping bolts.
The following versions are available:
Drum width 200 mm
Drum width 250 mm (only available as spare part)
Drum width 300 mm
When it comes to challenging renovations, the milling drum, which is equipped with forty interchangeable aggressive indexable carbide inserts, is the ideal tool. When used correctly, up to 500 m2 per cutting side, i.e. up to 2000 m2 with one indexable carbide insert, can be milled.
Designed for the effortless and economical renovation of old wooden floors heavily soiled by residuals of varnishes and carpet adhesives.
It can also be used for the pre-treatment of heavily cupped floorboards and for the removal of levelling compounds on wooden surfaces.
The milling drum will be supplied in the practical Systainer® in the typical LÄGLER® colors. With this special case, made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, the milling drum is always well kept and can be transported more easily.
It takes just a few minutes to convert your machine from the standard drum to the IGEL milling drum.
Available for the HUMMEL® and ELF.

To make working as comfortable as possible for taller people, we also offer the option of retrofitting the machine with a long guide tube. Due to the more upright working posture this leads to a noticeable work relief for the user!
Areas such as upper body muscles, spine and intervertebral discs are normally particularly stressed during sanding. By using the safety belt that is attached to the machine, these areas are noticeably relieved during work.
The belt has an integrated back padding. The waist size can be adjusted flexibly. If necessary, the belt can be quickly separated from the machine by a safety device.
The use of the safety belt therefore allows a much more relaxed working with the HUMMEL®, SUPERHUMMEL and ELF. The physical effort is thus considerably reduced!
The Transcart is used to transport the HUMMEL®, SUPERHUMMEL and ELF. It protects the wheels and the sanding drum, especially on unpaved roads.
The practical Transcart can be quickly and easily attached to the sanding machine and is immediately ready for use.
Due to its untreated surface, the wooden handles provide a pleasant feeling while working. The original plastic handles can be quickly and easily replaced with beech wood handles.
The PRCD-S serves as residual current protection device. Its use on construction sites is prescribed by the German Trade Association. It is the only mobile protective device that meets the requirements of the German Trade Association.
The PRCD-S
• detects all possible electrical faults,
• cannot be switched on in case of error,
• checks the intact protective conductor functions before switching on and during operation of the machine
• prevents the machine from restarting automatically, e.g. after the elimination of a power failure.
Our cables are reliable, safe and protect the user!
They are approved for construction sites by German VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies) and remain extremely flexible even at low temperatures. The plugs and couplings comply with protection class IP 54 (Schuko system) or IP 44 (three-phase current).
The robust cable jacket is extremely abrasion resistant as well as cut and tear proof and does not stain on wooden floor!
Damage to the coloured cable jacket can be detected immediately thanks to the white coloured inner material.
A glow lamp installed in the Schuko coupling only lights up when voltage is present. Therefore, a non-existent power supply can be detected immediately.
LÄGLER® extension cables are available in the following versions:
Cable cross-section: 3 x 1,5 mm²
Cable length: 10 m
Compatible with: LÄGLER®- Edge Sanders
Cable cross-section: 3 x 2,5 mm²
Cable length: 10 m or 20 m
Compatible with: all LÄGLER® Machines (exept machines with three-phase motor)
The following extension cable is available for three-phase motors:
Cable cross-section: 5 x 1,5 mm²
Cable length: 10 m
Compatible with: all LÄGLER® Machines with three-phase motor
It can be quickly hooked onto the top of the guide tube and always keeps the extension cable, which is attached to it with a rubber ring, safely out of the machine's working area. The cable support can be turned to the right and left.
The MultiClip additionally seals the dust bag during sanding and protects the environment from dust leakage. It is very easy to handle.
The tool bag contains all the necessary tools to carry out simple maintenance work and settings on the machine by yourself. It is included in delivery of the machine.
